Mike Way started doing standup in December 2005. A native of Southeast Washington DC, he draws the bulk of his influence from the observational humor of Chris Rock and Jerry Seinfeld. For over two years now, he has been delighting audiences on the local open-mic circuit with his unique, surprisingly twisted musings on everyday life, relationships and innermost personal insecurities. He is known around the area for his relaxed yet focused delivery style, intensely structured writing, and clean but edgy material. His trademark is finding innocuous, enjoyable ways to broach ostensibly sensitive subject matter.
